Terms of Sale
Last updated: 24 August 2026. These terms govern every purchase made through ybgglobal.com — by card checkout or by pro-forma invoice — and every system we deliver.
1. Who we are
The seller is YBG Group International Limited ("YBG Global", "we", "us"), Registered Office: Unit 2904-05, 29F, Universal Trade Centre, 3 Arbuthnot Road, Hong Kong SAR. Card payments are processed by Stripe on behalf of the group's merchant entity, YBG Group International Pty Limited, shown at checkout.
2. Orders and contract formation
Your order is an offer to purchase. A contract forms when we accept it by issuing your order confirmation email with its order reference. Before dispatch preparation begins we may decline an order — for example where payment verification or a manual review of a high-value transaction is not satisfactorily completed — in which case any payment taken is refunded in full.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are listed and charged in US dollars. The price shown at checkout is the contract price: on DDP destinations it already includes international freight, import duties and import taxes (see sections 4 and 5). Payment is by card through Stripe's hosted checkout; a pro-forma invoice with bank transfer is available on request via the Request Invoice path. We never see or store your full card number.
4. Delivery — DDP freight, explained
DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) destinations. Where we sell on DDP terms, the listed price is the full landed cost to your address. YBG arranges the international freight and the import clearance through its logistics provider, which acts as importer of record and pays the duty and import taxes at the border. There is nothing further to pay on delivery.
DAP (Delivered At Place) destinations. Where we sell on DAP terms, we deliver to your address and your consignment clears customs on arrival: the consignee pays the import duty and taxes assessed by the destination customs authority. The landed-cost calculator on each product page shows a conservative estimate of those charges before you order.
Delivery windows are estimates in good faith — international freight and customs clearance can vary. You can follow fulfilment progress on the order status page with your order reference, and live carrier tracking is provided once your shipment is in the carrier network.
5. Import GST — Australian deliveries
For Australian deliveries sold on DDP terms, import GST (10%) is included within the DDP arrangement: it is paid at the border by the logistics provider as part of the DDP freight, and you do not pay GST directly. Because the logistics provider is the importer of record, import GST is paid by the logistics provider and is generally not creditable to ABN-registered buyers as an input tax credit. Tax treatment depends on your circumstances — please confirm with your accountant or tax adviser.
6. Cancellation — the 24-hour window
You may cancel your order for a full refund within 24 hours of your order confirmation email. Email admin@ybgglobal.com quoting your order reference and we will confirm cancellation and refund to your original payment method.
After dispatch preparation begins, an order can no longer be cancelled. Dispatch preparation means the point at which we commit to your delivery: issuing the pro-forma instruction to the manufacturer, booking international freight, and making customs and importer-of-record arrangements under DDP. Those commitments are irreversible, which is why the cancellation right ends there. After delivery, the 90-day full-refund guarantee (section 7) takes over.
7. Returns — 90-day full-refund guarantee
Every system carries the group's 90-day full-refund guarantee from the date of delivery. If the system is not right for your operation, contact us within the guarantee period and we will arrange the return and refund the full purchase price once the unit is received back in substantially its original condition. The full conditions and the returns process are set out in the Refund & Returns Policy.
8. Warranty
Every system carries a 24-month warranty from delivery against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and correct installation. Under warranty we repair or replace the affected component (or, where that is not possible, the unit) at our cost. The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, unauthorised modification, incorrect installation, or consumable wear.
9. Installation and commissioning
Systems are supplied with remote-guided commissioning: your local mechanical or irrigation contractor completes the physical installation with YBG engineers guiding the commissioning steps. Site preparation — power supply, water connections, gas supply and any local compliance work — remains your responsibility and is specified per model before purchase.
10. Performance data
Published performance figures and trial results are presented as independent trial data and engineering measurement. They are evidence, not a promise: commercial outcomes vary with crop, climate, fuel, equipment condition and operating practice, and we do not warrant agronomic or financial outcomes.
11. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability arising from a purchase is limited to the purchase price paid for the system concerned, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss (including loss of crop, production or profit). Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
12. Your statutory rights
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under applicable law that cannot lawfully be excluded — including, where they apply, the Australian Consumer Law and equivalent consumer-protection legislation in your country of residence. These terms operate in addition to those rights.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong SAR, where the seller is registered, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Mandatory consumer-protection provisions of your country of residence are unaffected.
